Item Launch:
- Supports managers for all vendor dictated launch dates for Saks. com across all categories of business
- Partners with vendors to obtain the confirmed launch date and Sample Management team to obtain the complete and comprehensive list of products

- Partners with Digital Operations team to ensure all assets (samples and copy information) obtained and turned in for photography, copy completion, and item setup and validation
- Partners with Item Setup Managers post-production to ensure all products are live
- QA/Validates all products are set up to standard with the correct timers prior to launch
- Works with Digital Operations leadership team to identify, pilot, and roll out process improvements
What This Position Is All About:
- The vendor launch trainee plays a vital role in the successful publication of products to the Saks. com website.
- This function works closely with the eComm, Buying, Digital Operations, and vendor teams to ensure all launches are published on time, accurate, and with the most product available.
- The trainee works closely with the manager to review KPIs and ensure we are achieving them on a monthly, quarterly, seasonally, and yearly basis. The trainee also reviews, recommends, and documents process improvements.
Team Collaboration:-
- Collaborate with New York-based eCommerce team to execute business strategies
As a Trainee, you will:
- Knowledge/experience in e-Commerce, retail site merchandising preferred. Project Management experience is a plus
- Undergraduate Degree
- Understanding of retail eCommerce landscape
- Excellent Interpersonal, Analytical & Communication Skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and the ability to quickly learn internal systems, processes, and additional software/web-based applications
- Proven ability to analyze metrics and apply findings to drive process efficiency
- Strong aptitude to work within deadlines, both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a cross-functional team and willingness to take on responsibilities outside primary job description when necessary
- Assertive, adaptable and demonstrates initiative in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Strong aptitude to work within deadlines, both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated experience in a problem solving role
Reporting & Analysis:
- Maintains reporting of launch success rate and reviews weekly with manager
- Responsible with compiling reporting on launch success and distributing to eComm, Buying, and Digital Operations teams
